As a member of Defcredit, you are eligible to apply for Secure Sentinel services. Secure Sentinel offers an immediate reporting service for your important items in case of loss or theft, minimising the risk of fraud.

Through Secure Sentinel, you can register your:


  • credit, debit, ATM and other financial cards - one phone call arranges cancellation and/or replacement of your lost or stolen cards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • mobile phones - your lost or stolen mobile phone will be blocked to protect against fraudulent calls

  • passports - you will be provided with details of the Australian Diplomatic or Consular Post nearest you if your passport is lost or stolen

  • luggage - you will be provided with uniquely coded luggage tags that will alert airport and hotel staff to call Secure Sentinel if they come in contact with your missing luggage.

You can call Secure Sentinel toll free from anywhere in the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Information is stored safely and securely, and staff provide clients with fast, efficient and personalised service.
