| How much could you save with DHOAS?
| The Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme (DHOAS), designed to help purchase or pay off your own home sooner, was launched on 1 July, with the first subsidy certificate issued to a Defcredit member in South Queensland only a day after the scheme commenced.
DHOAS is an Australian Government initiative that recognises the contribution of ADF personnel by subsidising home loan payments. Defcredit is one of only three providers authorised to offer you DHOAS loans.

| Our recent dispatch survey resulted in valuable feedback from members across Australia on what type of articles should be included. The majority of respondents were keen to see articles on general money management and on specific financial products, including loans and refinancing.
Thanks to all members who participated and congratulations to the winner, Robert Leak, who had his $200 prize deposited into his Defcredit National Access account.

| | Update on DSNSG progress
| Fundraising is now underway for the Defence Special Needs Support Group (DSNSG), which supports Defence families with special needs.
Each year, Defcredit staff hold a range of fundraising activities for this very worthy cause. So far, our fundraising total for this year is $19,532 and counting!
