Supporting special needs
|
At Defcredit, we proudly support the Defence Special Needs Support Group (DSNSG), which was established in 1995 to assist families in the Defence Community who have special needs.
|
All staff at Defcredit enthusiastically support fundraising towards DSNSG, through a number of activities:
|

- Car or dog wash functions
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Selling fundraising chocolates
|
|
We are very proud of the fact that in May 2008 we donated our largest fundraising cheque to date. Staff at Defcredit raised $61,800 over a 12 month period and the Defcredit Board and Management matched this extraordinary effort, resulting in a total donation of $121,800.

Sponsorship
|
We also take an active interest in supporting activities throughout the Defence Community across Australia. Our involvement in sponsorship of sporting events, educational seminars and family activities assists to maintain a strong connection with our community and better understand their evolving needs.
